About The Position

This is a leadership position responsible for planning, scheduling, and directing the work of individual operators within the cleanroom operations on the 4th shift. The role involves managing people and processes to meet departmental safety goals, quality standards, and production schedules through daily leader standard work. The supervisor will collaborate cross-functionally with quality, engineering, IT, and program management to eliminate waste and drive continuous improvement. They will also work with various internal stakeholders, including other supervisors, to meet the specific requirements of each unique client. Additionally, the position requires coaching, mentoring, and developing staff to achieve cultural and performance standards, along with a general understanding of all organizational areas and the ability to work with subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in an Engineering discipline with at least two years Manufacturing Operations experience. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Supervisory experience is a must.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and superior interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a high attention to detail, high energy and interest in process improvement, along with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Applicant must be proficient with basic computer spreadsheets and word processing as well as Outlook for e-mail use.
  • At least two years Manufacturing Operations experience.

Nice To Haves

  • three to five years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with sterile and non-sterile packaging of medical devices.
  • Experience in highly skilled assembly and packaging processes is a plus.
