About The Position

F&M Bank’s Operations Supervisors are responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in achieving sales, customer experience, operations, premises, and productivity goals of the branch. This role is directly responsible for the staffing, scheduling, training and performance of bank teller duties on a daily basis. Operations Supervisors must be able to inspire their team and create an environment that keeps employees engaged and motivated to adhere to Bank policies, procedures and controls. Operations Supervisors model exemplary customer service and cross-selling of Bank products and services. Operations Supervisors maintain a positive reputation or image for the Bank in the communities we serve.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a credit history check is a condition of employment.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of financial services experience, to include branch operations in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of banking institution concepts, federal/state regulations, and policy and procedures.
  • Minimum of 12-month experience in new accounts, including business accounts, and loan origination.
  • Demonstrated ability to use various banking core system & related PC applications including, but not limited to the following: Windows, Outlook and SilverLake.

Nice To Haves

  • AA degree or higher preferred, including college-level courses in finance or accounting.
