Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of managing safety and/or quality programs & processes
  • High school diploma or GED required with substantial related proven leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Production Line – Lead all activities on your assigned shift, working towards production goals, material changes, and schedules to ensure the plant operates efficiently and objectives are met.
  • Facilitating Continuous Improvement – Improve how the plant functions, with a focus on enhancing activities that generate the most value, utilizing an owner’s mindset and continuous improvement methodologies like 5S, RCA, and LEAN.
  • Directing and Leading – Provide direction and support to a team of operators, encouraging them through consistency, transparency, and clear communication.
  • Prioritizing Safety First – Maintain a safe facility to prevent problems and ensure employees feel comfortable, upholding the company's values of people's safety and food safety.
