This position works onsite in San Marcos, TX. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Previous experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience driving safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position. The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise 3rd Shift production operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved.
  • Provide daily leadership, coaching, and development for hourly employees and team leads.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
  • Monitor production performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to meet operational goals.
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, and other cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, performance management, and employee development for the overnight shift.
  • Make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Work 3rd Shift and support operational needs – show flexibility to other shifts as well.
