About The Position

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor who has a true desire to lead and coach in a dynamic environment to maintain critical production plantwide. In this role, the Operations Supervisor will provide direction to production employees, leading employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts guided by our Roadmap and Control Tower objectives. Additionally, this position will lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, facility needs and procurement. In conjunction with daily supervisor responsibilities, project management, effective communication, and execution will support group members is critical to the business's success. Plans, designs, and executes activities directly related to the physical creation of products and the overall production of our site. Direct all critical Preventatives Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical and Tool Room services and personnel scheduling. Manage Department productivity and guides scheduling, sequencing of work, and production innovation to optimize production; work with HMI leadership for work needed and priorities. Develop production employees to expand learning to excel through the skills matrix to have cross training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, production, quality or related business OR an Associate's Degree with 4 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, production, quality or related business
  • In absence of a degree, High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, production, quality or related business
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of shop practices, processes and procedures
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP user experience
  • Leadership experience with specialized knowledge, or technical/operational practices, and/or shop environment experience
  • Continuous improvement certificates/training such as 6 Sigma practitioner/Professional certification
  • Experience with Environmental Health & Safety principles
