As a Operations Supervisor within PNC's Commercial Lending organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. Overview/Day-to-Day: In this role, you will be expected to measure quality and performance of the team and act as a self-starter to troubleshoot issues independently, producing solutions to correct matters under consideration. As an Operations Supervisor, you will supervise, manage, and develop team and individual performance. Within this, you will provide coaching and development to team members and hold touch bases with individuals to come up with plans of action to improve employee performance as needed. You will be expected to host a team huddle every morning and coordinate with your team and management to come up with a plan of action to ensure daily work is complemented accurately and efficiently and that anything outstanding is discussed. You will partner with our Ops Learning and Support Specialists to enhance department processes and procedures and assist in supporting new initiatives in the DCC. You will play an important role in risk mitigation and remediation. Prior management experience is preferred.   • Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior management or team lead experience, including workflow management experience preferred
  • Prior experience in CLLO preferred
  • CLASS, ACBS and CSX experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversees operations workflow and owns the execution of transactions/processes.
  • Manages direct reports on the operations team.
  • Manages and is responsible for achieving desired business results.
  • Assists team members with escalated issues.
  • May process and/or reconcile transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • May partner internally to resolve escalations and provide guidance.
  • May interact with external customers and third parties in completing transactions or resolving escalated issues.
  • Provides coaching and development to team members.
  • Leads team meetings and continuous improvement sessions.
  • Provides consultation and advice to service partners and customers.
  • May lead improvement initiatives including reviewing existing processes, making recommendations and supporting the implementation of improvements.
  • Updates standard operating procedures as appropriate.
  • Participates in and may oversee projects.
  • Reviews transactions and/or reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality and ensure compliance.
  • Manages and is accountable for risk mitigation activities.
  • Verifies completeness and accuracy of procedures.
