Requirements

3+ years in the waste industry (Landfill or Transfer experience is a plus).
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Comfortable working outdoors approximately 70% of the time, handling Florida heat and a loud, busy site.
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain a SWANA certification (for Transfer Stations) within 60 days.
Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located.

Responsibilities

Coach, train, and inspire a productive workforce, acting as a mentor.
Champion the "Safe for Life" culture by conducting safety meetings and ensuring team safety.
Implement preventive maintenance and manage inventory to minimize downtime and maximize performance.
Project a professional image and ensure compliance with all local and federal regulations, representing the GFL brand in the Gainesville community.
