What We’re Looking For We are currently seeking a safety-minded 3rd Shift Operations Supervisor to lead and support the efficient, day-to-day operations at our Old Hickory, Tennessee, facility. This role is responsible for supervising employees and coordinating activities to ensure a productive, safe, and efficient work environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least two (2) years of operations experience
  • Forklift certification
  • Must have effective verbal and written skills, enabling clear and strong interactions with co-workers, chemists, administrative staff, delivery personnel, and management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead third shift warehouse operations while working alongside the team to complete daily tasks.
  • Unload, receive, label, stock, and organize inbound materials, warehouse transfers, and supplies.
  • Load Superior trucks and stage materials to ensure next-day deliveries and production are ready on time.
  • Complete and oversee monthly cycle counts, tote inventories, and inventory investigations to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Support production by preparing totes, completing tote testing, making blends, and staging materials for the next day's operations.
  • Assign daily work, monitor progress, and provide hands-on support to keep the shift running efficiently.
  • Complete and verify maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance records, invoices, and other required documentation in company systems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse, including equipment cleaning and proper space utilization.
  • Perform and ensure completion of required safety and compliance tasks, including eyewash activations, tank sampling, and proper disposal of retain samples.
  • Train, coach, and hold employees accountable for safe work practices, quality standards, productivity, and company procedures.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues, resolve inventory concerns, and communicate priorities with other departments to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.
  • Look for ways to improve safety, inventory accuracy, workflow, and overall warehouse efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.
