Position Overview: WeDriveU is seeking a highly organized and performance driven Operations Supervisor to oversee daily para-transit service delivery in the Landover region. This role ensures safe, reliable and on time transportation by monitoring driver activity, GPS performance, scheduling accuracy and adherence to service standards. The supervisor will work closely with drivers, dispatch and fleet teams to maintain high quality service, resolve issues in real time and support continuous improvement across the operation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation operations, supervision or dispatch
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and follow through
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office and GPS or dispatching software
  • Knowledge of DOT, ADA and para transit operations is preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in para-transit, fixed route or demand response transportation
  • Understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to conduct field evaluations and support driver training
  • Commercial Driver’s License Class B with passenger endorsement is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Monitor driver performance using GPS, scheduling systems and real time dashboards
  • Track punctuality, route adherence, service reliability and other operational KPIs
  • Partner with dispatch to adjust routes, resolve service disruptions and manage call outs
  • Respond to operational issues including late departures, vehicle concerns and customer feedback
  • Review and maintain driver schedules along with attendance, sick leave and vacation usage
  • Support drivers with troubleshooting onboard technology, tablets and software
  • Conduct field checks to verify safety compliance and customer service standards
  • Provide coaching and feedback to drivers and escalate performance concerns when needed
  • Coordinate with Fleet to address maintenance needs, out of service vehicles and repair priorities
  • Assist with required monthly audits and compliance reviews related to DOT, ADA and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate driver files, training records and performance documentation
  • Deliver refresher training or onboarding support as assigned
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • Monitor road supervisors to ensure all zones are covered
  • Coordinate with other departments and colleagues to keep internal information, organisation and reporting up to date according to company standards.
  • Support the General Manager with operational reporting, projects and daily oversight
