Requirements

  • Self-awareness, and ownership in responsibilities in response to leadership.
  • Proven skillset in leading and motivating a close team of up to 40 staff members.
  • Ability to handle personnel matters and provide support to a staff with a range of EMS experience.
  • Strong skills in managing schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills with the capacity to reach all levels of staff creatively.
  • Quick problem solving skills and proficiency in making informed decisions under pressure.
  • Technical proficiency and adaptability.
  • Audacity to adapt to evolving operational growth and demands with the ability to implore new ideas and methods to enhance structure, efficiency and quality of services.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Minimum of two years of trade supervisory experience required.
  • Work with large teams preferred.
  • Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, with insurable motor vehicle record.
  • Candidates must exhibit accountability, flexibility, and dependability in their previous work capacity.
  • A history of exceptional customer service skills and problem-solving skills is required.
  • Equivalent combination of education, certification and experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Established industry knowledge to include EMS protocols and regulations, ambulance operations, dispatch communication and logistical coordination is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience in EMS is not a necessity, but is a plus.
  • Additional life experience related to mentorship, and training is desired.
  • A State of Colorado certification preferred, but not required should management experience align.
