WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE: Collaborate with managers, and supervisors from other departments coordinating supporting needs and output activities from those departments. Assists with prioritizing workloads and the coordination of personnel requirements by increasing or decreasing personnel and overtime to meet changing conditions to ensure customer order deadlines are met. Studies production schedules for accurate shop floor production layout and ensures materials needed are accessible to assigned builder crews. Assists with training and managing process improvements as recommended through the quality management system. Supports and trains on suggested changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. -Reports machine and equipment malfunctions. Performs activities of employees supervised. Interprets company policies to employees, implements safety regulations, and assists with performance evaluations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Ideally 5 plus years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
