Operations Supervisor - Pallet Manufacturing
About The Position
As an Operations Supervisor, you’ll get to work closely with Plant management in developing all plant personnel and ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently! We’re looking for someone who is ready to take their experience in a similar industry and grow! 48forty Solutions is the largest pallet management services company in North America! We provide end-to-end pallet solutions, from supply to retrieval, on-site services, reverse logistics, and packaging materials. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of experience in a Warehouse or similar facility
- Demonstrated experience leading a team
- Ability to communicate with Plant management team effectively on a regular basis
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision.
- Must have a good sense of balance & good eye-hand-foot coordination
Responsibilities
- Enforce safety standards, achieve production goals, and maintain quality standards
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the production function of the site
- Perform pallet sort, light pallet repair, forklift operation and customer service duties
- Lead production and provide customer support when necessary
- Work overtime as needed or swing shifts at times
