The supervisor will also sell rooms to guests without reservations based on availability, ensuring rates are accurate and exceptions are documented. Additionally, they will process checks from outlets and charge them to rooms. The position also includes assisting management with employee training, evaluation, and discipline, serving as a role model, and upholding the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy. Safety is paramount, requiring reporting of accidents and completion of safety training. The role demands adherence to company policies, maintaining a professional appearance, protecting company assets, and providing excellent guest service according to company standards, including assisting individuals with disabilities. Communication skills are essential for speaking clearly and professionally, answering telephones with proper etiquette, and developing positive working relationships. The supervisor must ensure quality expectations and standards are met. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable duties may be requested by supervisors.
