This role is responsible for managing overall work flows and work assignment coordination within Supply Chain Management. The position involves managing personnel-related issues, leading projects, collaborating with internal and external suppliers, and consulting on procurement and payment processes. The Operations Supervisor will initiate and implement solutions to improve financial and operational performance, facilitate task forces to address Supply Chain Management issues, and serve as an institutional resource for policies and systems. This role will also oversee outsource company activities, conduct research and analysis, manage the procurement of supplies and equipment, develop financial reporting programs, and contribute to supply chain integration. The position involves making purchasing decisions, analyzing data, and identifying expense management initiatives while upholding Mayo's Standard of Ethics and minimizing risks. The role will represent Mayo Clinic interests at industry conferences. This role will oversee Logistics operations across Northwest Wisconsin, including Eau Claire, Menomonie, Osseo, Bloomer, and Barron locations, and travel between sites as needed. This role can expect to be onsite roughly 90% of working hours, with some flexibility for working remotely.
