About The Position

The Street Division is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the daily Street Division maintenance operations, ideally suited to lead the Traffic Team. This position coordinates and leads crews responsible for the repair, cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of city rights-of-way, including traffic signage, traffic-control devices, street sweeping operations, and related infrastructure. Responsibilities include scheduling daily work, assigning crews and equipment, monitoring job quality and safety, responding to resident concerns and service requests, and coordinating with department leadership, other city departments, contractors, and community stakeholders. The supervisor also supports emergency response operations and promotes efficient, safe, and customer-focused service.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (G.E.D).
Two to five years of related experience.
Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in street maintenance and traffic operations.
Experience in leading a team, coordinating work orders, equipment, and materials.
Knowledge of traffic-control practices and right-of-way maintenance.
