About The Position

Supervise assigned aircraft maintenance employees and responsible for the daily and overall operations of the aircraft maintenance department, to include safety, schedules, personnel, and quality. Encourage and promote a safe work environment by supervising a safety/security program. Perform supervisory responsibilities such as performance & development management, time keeping, hiring, dismissals and lead/coordinate daily meetings. Coordinate the completion of all planned and ad-hoc maintenance. Ensure that work is performed in accordance with Repair Station/Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). Monitor housing and facilities safety requirements and report any insufficiency. Engage with customers regarding Aircraft Maintenance (where required). Identify and communicate best practices and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
