About The Position

This role is responsible for participating in all aspects of the conversion process in preparation for events. Duties may include setting up and tearing down flooring, portable chairs, operable walls, stage barricades, staging, bike rack, turnstiles, tables, other furnishings and equipment. The position also performs various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met, including event setup, loading/unloading delivery trucks, and transporting trash and waste to proper disposal areas. Additionally, the role assists with pre/post event cleaning of operational equipment, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, and washing. The Operations Staff member will also perform repairs and maintenance tasks on equipment like tables, chairs, staging, stage barricades, stage stairs, bike rack, and retractable seating. Reporting irregularities, discrepancies, damage of equipment and property, loss of property and equipment, and safety concerns promptly to the supervisor, manager, and director is crucial. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• One to three months related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Work independently, exercising judgement and initiative.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
