Operations Specialist

Plug Technologies Inc•Los Angeles, CA
•$75,000 - $85,000•Onsite

About The Position

Plug is an automotive fintech startup building the marketplace for electric vehicles. Consumers, dealers, and commercial partners trade in, sell, and auction used EVs through a platform built exclusively for electric, with nothing adapted from legacy automotive. Consumers can get an instant cash offer in minutes, backed by data-driven pricing, battery state-of-health analysis, with pickup, payment, and title transfer handled end-to-end. Franchise and independent dealers across the United States bid in real time on inventory sourced directly from these consumers, dealers, and commercial partners. The result is a single platform that gives sellers a fast, fair exit and gives dealers a dedicated channel for sourcing used EV inventory. Founded in 2023 and led by former Tesla executives, Plug has facilitated $100M in EV sales since launch and is backed by a $20M Series A from Lightspeed Venture Partners. We're building the most AI-native startup team in Los Angeles, full of operators, engineers, and ML researchers laying the transaction rails for the used EV market's exponential growth. The Operations team helps keep the marketplace running smoothly, from the moment a vehicle enters our system to the moment it's paid for, delivered, and closed out. Payments, building listings, logistics, and commercial intake all move through a small team that owns the full lifecycle, plus the customer-facing work that keeps consumers, dealers, and our OEM partners moving with us. As we scale, we need someone who can operate across all of it. As an Operations Specialist, you'll start by getting fluent in the core: building vehicle listings, supporting consumers and dealers directly, coordinating logistics from gate pass to delivery, and working with our OEM partners on intake and delivery. Once you've got the fundamentals down, you'll take on the strategic work that doesn't fit neatly into any one lane: process improvements, dashboards, and the kind of data-driven thinking that helps the business make better decisions. We're looking for someone who's already worked inside a tech company, is comfortable with ambiguity, and wants a role that pairs hands-on execution with real strategic ownership.
