About The Position

As an Operations Specialist and a member of the Commercial Banking Operations, you will apply your deep knowledge of RBC commercial credit products, processes, and services, to deliver a high-quality client experience. You will provide expert advice to internal business partners on document vetting, complex and specialized operations, exception processing and critical regulatory requirements due diligence. You will gather vital details from partners to complete document vetting, complex transactions and offer solutions, while ensuring quality client engagement.

Requirements

  • Ability to multitask and have strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Expert knowledge and experience in Business Operations process, policy, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong and demonstrated communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to apply analytical thinking.
  • Experience with using Synergy, ECM and Odyssey systems, OLBB/ KTA and CART
  • Must be available to work the hours of 9am - 5pm PST, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent service to clients, focusing on doing what is best for clients and RBC.

  • Apply your deep knowledge of diverse RBC products, processes, services and supporting systems/applications to process complex and specialized client transactions or investigations efficiently.
  • Exercise due diligence in following RBC operational risk policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate strength in judgment and connect with partners to make informed decisions based on information.
  • Be accountable for quality and accuracy of day-to-day tasks, ensuring a balance between client experience, efficiency, operational risk, and compliance.
  • Use language, behaviors and actions that support a positive and productive work environment.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team by sharing ideas and best practices.
