About The Position

We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory! This position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico. Responsibilities Participate in day-to-day technical interface between the facility operations organization and the programmatic tenants in a facility or a collection of facilities. Assist in the day-to-day business operations functions and in the development and deliverance of facility operations-focused programs, policies, processes, and procedures in support of safe and compliant facility operations. Provide guidance on governmental regulations and Laboratory guidelines. Conduct incident and general issue management investigations and reporting. Participate in or support readiness reviews for operations. Support the activity approval process. Develop and maintain required operational documentation and procedural manuals. Plan and budget. Provide other compliance and/or quality-related support functions including development of training, delivery of facility-level training, tracking and assurance of employee training; property accountability, and access control. Provide other operational/administrative support functions as required. Requirements Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience. Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work. Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed. About the Site The NNSA's Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), located in Los Alamos, New Mexico, is a design laboratory responsible for the safety and reliability of the nuclear explosives package in nuclear weapons.
