- 0-5 years of applicable technical experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience with system or component operations and maintenance is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility is to operations leadership and day-to-day operations in a vitrification facility
- Being onsite during operations (requires occasional shift work)
- Timely ordering and accurate tracking of all consumables and spare parts required to support GeoMelt processing schedules
- Maintaining the GeoMelt Maintenance and Calibration Tracker , including spreadsheets and forms to monitor daily, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance activities.
- Collaborating with various vendors to schedule maintenance and manage instrument calibrations.
- Perform project document control functions
- Perform limited hands-on duties necessary to support GeoMelt Operations
- Seek assistance from senior Veolia staff as needed
- Must be capable of wearing a respirator as needed
- Compliance with operating procedures, work instructions, and ESH&Q requirements
- Knowledgeable on technology and equipment deployed within the respective facility
- Safely performing facility operations within conditions of a Radioactive Materials License and Hazardous Waste Permit
