About The Position

The primary purpose of this job is to process, research, and complete a wide range of background screening products by following established workflows to support accurate, timely, and compliant fulfillment of background screening orders. This role coordinates with external sources, vendors, and internal systems to ensure consistent execution and quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting verified information while adhering to data security protocols.
  • Proficiency in conducting verifications through various communication channels, including phone, email, fax, and online platforms.
  • Ability to meet production requirements consistently by following efficient and repeatable processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to respond professionally and promptly to client and candidate inquiries.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a variety of background screening product types, including but not limited to abuse searches, address history traces, professional license verifications, workers' compensation searches, criminal searches, drug testing components, and other related screening products, as well as employment and education verifications and personal references, using established workflows, internal systems, research tools, and third-party resources to obtain accurate and complete screening results.
  • Accurately document verified information in the company's internal background screening system, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to data security protocols.
  • Consistently meet average daily production requirements by using consistent and repeatable processes.
  • Respond to incoming inquiries from clients and candidates, providing professional and timely communication.
  • Perform thorough online research utilizing public and private databases to gather verification information as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to complete departmental tasks and support various ongoing projects.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout the verification process.
  • Stay informed of current policies and procedures.
  • Continued professional development through ongoing training and education.
  • Other duties as assigned.
