About The Position

Amentum, a large government contract company, is seeking an Operations Specialist to support the DHS/ICE Camp Montana East contract in El Paso, TX. With limited direction and minimal supervision, this role competently performs all Operations functions, including producing and distributing reports and data management. The specialist will analyze requirements and databases, making informed recommendations for improvement across all functional categories. They will provide methodical support to the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the department, collect and analyze data to create quality metrics representing department performance, and develop and maintain appropriate databases for tracking department activities. The role also involves developing and submitting timely and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management, and performing other qualified duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of job-related experience
  • Knowledge of the functions and operations of major U.S. Military Commands.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
  • Excellent follow-through and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, effective leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of various computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
  • US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

Responsibilities

  • Read, understand, and implement general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to the job.
