About The Position

QSL Management, a rapidly growing company designated as a “Great Place to Work” for 2023-2025, is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist for the Virginia and Carolinas region. This role is crucial for supporting the overall success of assigned communities, focusing on sales, human resources, licensure compliance, daily operations, and census development. The Operations Specialist will ensure communities adhere to corporate policies, annual budgets, and federal/state regulations, while promoting the highest standard of resident care and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must have SCALA license
  • Must have SCALA license Virginia and Carolinas Region

Responsibilities

  • Support Executive Directors in hiring, training, and retention efforts, including onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Coach directors in all departments and participate in training initiatives.
  • Promote and coach the sales process: First Impression, Discovery, Needs Matching, Sales Presentation, Close.
  • Support and train on QSLM standards for dining, wellness, facility management, and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with QSL Management policies, procedures, and federal, state, county, and city regulations.
  • Report all inspections, correspondence, and inquiries to the VP of Operations on the same day of receipt.
  • Document relevant information objectively and professionally with an accurate timeline.
  • Maintain a risk management file for situations requiring legal intervention, litigation, or state inspections.
  • Obtain witness statements as needed using the company-approved form.
  • Utilize “Employee Notes” to document specific information related to individual employees.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Assist communities in submitting specific reports to corporate partners.
  • Participate in annual budget creations.
