The Operations Specialist II with Aon Business Services – Affinity Integrated Services and will support our Specialty Professions Program Fort Washington, PA. Requirements

  • 2+ years of office or administrative work experience
  • Excellent reading comprehension and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with PC applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, and Teams
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and customer service focus
  • Demonstrated use of sound judgment skills with solid decision-making abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and independently prioritize work
  • Strong Independent problem-solving skills and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
  • Basic Math Skills, including accurate computation and reconciliation
  • High School education
  • Required to obtain the P&C license within 6 months of hire date

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Insurance industry work experience
  • Some college or relevant work experience
  • Property and Casualty license

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and decisioning client applications, assessing client needs, and acting as an advisor and processor.
  • Handling applications through an online portal and manual issuance, learning and following established guidelines.
  • Revising templates or creating freeform responses as needed.
  • Maintaining broker relationships by responding to emails, onboarding new brokers, and assisting the accounting department with financial backend processing for brokered accounts.
  • Providing user support, training colleagues, system testing, and assisting with the implementation of process or system changes for multiple systems used in daily processing.
  • Supporting daily reporting, which may involve running queries, tracking production, and consolidating Excel data.
  • Answering daily questions from East partners to ensure smooth processing and reviewing the quality of work from vendor partners to ensure accuracy and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Reviewing and updating processing notes, templates, and reference materials to reflect changes in programs, guidelines, or system functionality.
  • Participating in special projects and initiatives as assigned to support process improvement and operational efficiency.
