About The Position
Pacific Rail Services (PRS) is seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Shuttle Supervisor to oversee daily shuttle operations and lead a team responsible for the safe and efficient movement of customer vehicles throughout our facility. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing people, solving operational challenges, and maintaining high standards for safety, productivity, and customer service.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Experience in automotive logistics, rail operations, transportation, warehousing, yard operations, or a related field preferred
- Strong leadership and employee management skills
- Excellent organizational and inventory management abilities
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to monitor productivity and adjust staffing as business needs change
- Experience conducting safety observations, audits, and employee coaching
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with operational tracking systems
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily shuttle operations
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate workload, staffing, safety expectations, and operational goals
- Monitor vehicle inventory and ensure vehicles are moved safely and efficiently
- Oversee employee productivity and performance standards
- Assign work based on operational priorities and staffing levels
- Conduct safety observations and enforce company safety policies
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues
- Perform operational audits and ensure compliance with procedures
- Coach, train, and develop team members
- Complete employee evaluations and performance documentation
- Coordinate with other departments to maintain workflow and meet customer expectations
