Requirements

  • Ability to review data using computer applications and/or spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

  • Independently collect and organize data from all bureau laboratories to compile comprehensive final reports.
  • Ensure all required reviews are completed and documented.
  • Verify that all supporting details in final laboratory reports are accurate and consistent with corresponding inspection and collection reports.
  • Maintain organized digital records of final reports and ensure timely communication with other bureaus regarding report publication.
  • Collaborate with laboratories across the bureau to ensure analyses are completed on schedule and all reporting deadlines are met.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of section calendars to ensure efficient scheduling coordination across teams.
  • Perform a wide range of administrative duties supporting laboratory operations, including documentation management, workflow optimization, and compliance with internal protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Assist the Sample Custodian in tracking regulatory samples throughout the laboratory process (from receipt to disposal) and serve as a backup when needed.
  • Support accurate documentation of sample custody, ensure proper logging and routing, and maintain secure sample storage.
  • Work with supervisor, staff and laboratory quality manager to ensure quality assurance and ultimately, improvement, as required under ISO 17025.
  • Ensures inventories (equipment and chemical/reagent) are current and complete.
  • Ensures proper working of section, including equipment maintenance, maintaining supplies (including reagent and chemicals), ensuring laboratory and work areas are clean and orderly, etc.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
