About The Position

Imagine Therapy is seeking a highly motivated Operations & Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of our growing behavioral health practice. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the office runs efficiently while managing provider credentialing, insurance billing, revenue cycle management, compliance, and administrative staff. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating systems, solving problems, improving processes, and taking ownership of operational success. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to helping our organization provide exceptional behavioral health services to the community.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of healthcare administration experience.
  • Experience with medical billing and insurance claims.
  • Experience with provider credentialing.
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance and government payers.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience in behavioral health.
  • Experience with AHCCCS and Arizona Medicaid.
  • Knowledge of BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, TriWest, and Medicare billing.
  • Experience with Valant EHR or similar electronic health record systems.
  • Supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily administrative operations of the practice.
  • Develop, implement, and improve office workflows and operational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
  • Assist leadership with strategic planning and operational improvements.
  • Maintain organized provider and agency records.
  • Oversee insurance billing and claim submission.
  • Monitor claims from submission through payment.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve denied or unpaid claims.
  • Review accounts receivable and aging reports.
  • Work with insurance companies to resolve payment issues.
  • Monitor reimbursement trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure timely posting of payments and adjustments.
  • Coordinate provider credentialing and recredentialing.
  • Maintain CAQH profiles and provider documentation.
  • Assist with payer contracting and enrollment.
  • Track renewal dates, licenses, malpractice insurance, and certifications.
  • Communicate with insurance representatives regarding enrollment and credentialing issues.
  • Support scheduling and front office operations.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and providers.
  • Train administrative staff on office procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Support clinicians by removing administrative barriers to client care.
  • Generate monthly operational reports.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including: Claims submitted, Denial rates, Accounts receivable, Credentialing status, Provider productivity.
  • Recommend operational improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
