Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking an Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) Senior to support the mission of the Security Vetting Enterprise (SVE) in the front-line defense for screening and vetting linguist applicants and other Army designated categories of personnel. The USINDOPACOM JIOC provides the Commander with all-source intelligence support for operations, planning, and decision-making. It analyzes adversary capabilities and threats, integrates intelligence functions across the theater, supports joint planning and exercises, and informs deterrence and regional security efforts in the Indo-Pacific. Requirements

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred plus 8+ years of experience in operations research, systems analysis, or related analytical fields. Advanced expertise in optimization, complex systems analysis, metrics frameworks, simulation, and strategic application of quantitative methods.
  • Ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for operational and senior leader audiences.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
  • This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply mathematical models and optimization techniques to improve intelligence operations.
  • Conduct systematic analyses of operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose evidence-based solutions.
  • Perform statistical analysis and design experiments to evaluate system performance and test operational hypotheses.
  • Create simulations and decision-analysis products to support risk assessment, planning, and course-of-action evaluation.
  • Develop MOPs, MOEs, KPIs, and data collection plans; prepare analytical reports and visualizations for leadership.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
