Operations Research Specialist
About The Position
As an Operations Research Specialist, you will apply defense mission expertise and advisory skills to solve complex client problems and develop solutions that support national security. You will work alongside analytics thought leaders on Department of Defense projects, using your expertise to design, develop, and oversee DoD systems and address challenging Navy missions. The position requires a TS/SCI clearance. The projected annual compensation range is $86,900 to $198,000, with salary determined by factors including location, education, skills, experience, and organizational requirements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in U.S. military operations.
- At least 2 years of experience using U.S. military modeling and simulation systems or in operations analysis and research across any service branch.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a U.S. Navy Command.
- Knowledge of Navy programs and missions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, or Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation preferred.
- Master’s degree in Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation is a plus.
