About The Position

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. We are seeking a motivated Operations Research and Data Science Manager to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, TX, to oversee and approve task planning and execution on several large projects.

Requirements

BA / BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field
10+ years of overall experience and 5+ years of experience in data-centric / analytical program/project management.
Clearance: Minimum Secret with the ability to obtain TS, SCI, SAP.
Complex System Design: Experience in designing and supervising the development of complex systems of systems and enterprise architectures.
Program Management: Proven track record in managing and delivering complex projects. Experience should include managing projects for senior decision makers.
Team Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills in a collaborative environment. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively within all organizational levels, including senior DoD leadership.
Defense Sector Experience: Previous experience in the defense sector or with DoD projects.
Proven ability to recommend, embrace and implement change in a fast-paced, high-performing, hand-picked organization.

Nice To Haves

MA / MS in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field
10+ years of experience in data-centric / analytical program/project management.
Emerging Technologies: Interest in and experience with the latest system modeling and engineering techniques and languages.

Responsibilities

Studies and Analyses: Assist customers in understanding analysis needs, clarifying decision options, leading teams in conducting fact-based studies to provide data-informed solutions, and presenting findings to senior leaders.
Requirements Analysis: Recommend and refine detailed operational requirements for emerging Dept of the Air Force domain awareness visualization and data fusion technologies
Program Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to achieve aggressive project timelines and cutting-edge technology outcomes.
Advanced Modeling Techniques: Recommend and leverage software modeling and test tools to validate performance.
Team Leadership: Mentor junior and senior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
