About The Position

The Investigator role is for an Operations Research Analyst who loves connecting the dots and understanding systems, technologies, and their interactions. This role requires applying knowledge of numbers to analytical challenges, developing sensible answers, and effectively communicating complex algorithms and equations to non-technical audiences through charts, graphs, and other graphics. The analyst will focus on the utility and cost-effectiveness of systems, using statistical analysis, simulations, and predictive modeling to aid decision-makers. Infinity Labs is an innovation-driven company in the defense and national security sectors, providing cutting-edge engineering technologies and solutions. The Operations Research Analyst will perform various analyses using sophisticated computer software, simulating current and future events, evaluating alternative courses of action, and collaborating with experts across fields to understand how their work fits into the bigger picture. They will break down problems into parts and analyze the impact of changes and circumstances on each part.

Requirements

  • BA or BS undergraduate degree in math, physics, or engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years’ verifiable experience supporting DoW programs
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) to model systems and systems of systems
  • Proficiency in applying modeling & simulation techniques to support the decision-making process
  • US Citizenship is required for consideration, as this job requires a US government security clearance
  • Acceptable – Secret level clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Dayton-based customers leveraging MS&A tools (e.g., AFSIM) to inform decision makers
  • Advanced degree in math, physics, or engineering
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
