About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to work onsite at Fort Meade, Maryland. The role applies advanced analytical and mathematical expertise to support strategic decision-making, optimize organizational processes, and solve complex operational problems. The analyst collaborates with diverse teams to investigate issues, forecast outcomes, and implement data-driven solutions that improve efficiency and productivity. The position requires an active TS/SCI Government Clearance.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply probability models, statistical inference, simulations, optimization, data analysis, and data visualization, and implement mathematical models to solve operational problems.
• Introduce quantitative and qualitative analysis, data analytics, and data science into military decision-making processes.
• Analyze and assess progress on Agency directives by developing measures of performance and measures of effectiveness.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data.
• Create simulations and predictive models to forecast future outcomes.
• Optimize resource allocation and logistical processes.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate project feasibility.
• Prepare and present reports communicating analytical results and recommendations.
• Use statistical software and programming languages to perform analyses.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend improvements.
• Stay current with industry trends and analytical techniques.
