About The Position

Operations Research Analyst position. This role involves conducting problem definition, gathering data requirements from stakeholders, and explaining data analysis to stakeholders through oral and written communication. The position requires experience with various analytical tools and techniques, including PANDAS, R, Excel and VBA, ARENA, OCTAVE, Tableau, Gurobi and CPLEX, EXTENDSIM, SAS, NETICA, stats models, Stata, MATLAB, or SPSS. Additionally, desired skills include developing and performing verification and validation of models, developing and delivering training materials, briefing results, preparing written reports, and experience with machine learning and large language models.

Requirements

Experience conducting problem definition and gathering data requirements from stakeholders
Oral and written communications skills to explain data analysis to stakeholders
Experience with PANDAS, R, Excel and VBA, ARENA, OCTAVE, Tableau, Gurobi and CPLEX, EXTENDSIM, SAS, NETICA, stats models, Stata, MATLAB, or SPSS
10+ years of experience with conducting analysis of management and operational problems using operations research techniques
4+ years of experience with the application of modeling and simulation to address decision analysis problems
4+ years of experience conducting multiple objective decision analysis or cost benefit analysis in support of research objectives
Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
TS/SCI Clearance
Polygraph required
