About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the correct execution of various tasks concerning freight acceptance and handling. The Operations Representative ensures that flight and ground operations are performed in accordance with the company's quality system as described in the Ground Operations Manual. This position requires compliance with all local and international rules and regulations relating to Safety and Security, including monitoring and reporting accidents, incidents, and other ground occurrences, such as DG incidents, to the appropriate Authority. The role also involves coordinating all activities as outlined in the company’s emergency manual in the event of an accident or incident at the station.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
1-3 years of relevant experience.
Regulatory and compliance experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong analytical skills with both numerical values and applying policies to practice.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training and coverage.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and Passport.
Must be able to obtain an Airport ID.

Nice To Haves

Strong supervisory experience.
Knowledge of Cargo Handling Systems.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

Ensuring flight and ground operations are performed in accordance with the company's quality system as described in the Ground Operations Manual.
Be in compliance with all local and international rules and regulations relating to Safety and Security, and by monitoring the report of accidents, incidents and other ground occurrences, including reporting DG incidents, to the appropriate Authority as required.
Responsible for coordinating all activities, as outlined in the company’s emergency manual Chapter 11 Station Nearest Accident, in the event of an accident or incident in their station.
