The Operations Project Engineering Specialist will lead Operational Readiness Review (ORR) meetings to evaluate and validate the readiness of a project to enter the production phase. This role involves assessing supply chain needs, procurement schedules, and physical space requirements to ensure necessary components and facilities are available for Assembly and Integration teams. The specialist will coordinate with various departments to resolve production readiness issues and provide expert input on manufacturing elements for cost proposals and capital planning. Additionally, the role requires monitoring project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM), Cost Account Manager (CAM), and Estimate at Completion (EAC) techniques, while proactively identifying cost savings opportunities. The specialist will also manage time-sensitive project setup requirements, serve as the operational point of contact, and provide timely updates on operational risks and recovery plans to leadership.
