The Global Payment Operations (GPO) organization delivers global wire transfers and ACH payments for internal and external bank clients and supports end-to-end payment execution and investigations for transactions initiated through various channels. The team also provides sanctions screening on transactions for multiple products, in accordance with policies established by the Global Economic Sanctions Compliance team. Responsibilities: The GPO project consultant Operations CAR owner will collaborate with QA, Developers, PMs, Lines of Business partners and other related teams to manage the operational readiness of the overall project across all impacted applications. Candidate will conduct workgroup meetings with all the impacted resources to ensure that Global Payment Operations execution goals are met. Test execution will include GPO applications. Candidate is responsible for collaborating across the Operations COE and change teams. Candidate will be held accountable to make sure that assigned COE is ready to support the process post code release. The candidate will be responsible to provide standard reporting to the leadership team. You will join a close-knit and industrious team of professionals in our GPO organization where you will be responsible for: Directing the work efforts of resources that may be functionally aligned as part of the project Establishing clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for each change activity Ensuring all applicable change requirements are satisfied Communicate effectively within the team and escalate as necessary Reporting on status, defects and test execution status to Senior Leaders Prioritizing issues and concerns for quick resolution by tech teams Supporting triages to resolve any blocking defects

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with projects, production support activities and/or payment operations
  • Cross functional with strong business analysis, problem solving, quality management and organization skills
  • Skilled in translating business requirements into testing requirements
  • Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions
  • Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs – is a continuous learner
  • Participate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client base
  • Believes in value of diversity so we can reflect, connect and meet the diverse needs of our clients and employees around the world
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to learn and adapt to change
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with business stakeholders and gain trust in order guide and influence them
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture (risks, dependencies)
  • Strong knowledge of tools (Jira, ALM, qTest, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of SWIFT, ISO 20022 formats, low-value and high-value clearings such as Target 2, Fed Wire, CHIPS, USACH, BACS etc. (preferably in-depth knowledge of implementing Platform that process these types of payments)
  • Experience of the Agile software delivery methodology
  • Experience with large scale projects test management
  • Executive reporting and presentation skills
