About The Position

The Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Systems (EMS) division is seeking an Operations Program Manager (OPM) to join our Summerville, SC location. Under general direction, the OPM provides on-site project support and coordination for complex contracts, projects, tasks, or business units. This role is responsible for supporting Program Managers in the preparation and analysis of project scheduling data and other complex contract, project, or business-related tasks. The OPM interfaces with all functional levels of the program team to develop and status schedule requirements and works within the OPM team to deconflict resources to protect the schedule for all projects. Key activities include creating and maintaining progress reports, meeting notes, and other documentation such as QE’s, VIR’s, and production reports. The role also involves monitoring e-mail correspondence, QE notifications, VIR status, Job/PO progress, and overall material demand, as well as tracking and reviewing daily job production reports and updating the Program Manager on manufacturing/material support required from the planning group.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be US citizens due to DoD requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a role that requires excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Demonstration of organization and presentation skills.
  • Keen ability to handle multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, action-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and results-driven.

Responsibilities
