About The Position

The Operations Program Manager (OPM) launches products on time, with high quality and maximum customer availability. OPMs lead and facilitate the dynamic development and launch of Apple products, collaborating across worldwide Operations with the core product development team and other functional organizations. The role calls for a driven, organized, detail-oriented leader who excels at program and project management, communicates effectively at all levels, works well in ambiguous environments, and facilitates action and conflict resolution. Travel is 20–25%.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or product development.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
• Results-oriented with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management.
• Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AI/ML, machine learning, LLM, robotic process automation, or quantum computing.
• Master’s degree or MBA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations team in planning and executing development builds and new product ramps.
• Drive ramp readiness with engineering, operations, and OEM teams.
• Plan capacity and lead the factory equipment budget.
• Manage component readiness to ensure part availability, quality, and cost.
• Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams.
• Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness while pursuing low cost and flexibility and stewarding quality.
• Lead communications upward and downward through the organization, raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams.
