Formlabs, Inc. is seeking an Operations Program Manager to join their team. This role involves creating and enforcing formal phase-gate product development processes for manufacturing, managing verification and validation planning, and leading operations readiness and production ramp planning. The position requires performing engineering trade-off analyses, validating design feasibility, applying DFM/DFA principles, and managing resource leveling and capacity planning. The Operations Program Manager will also identify and manage risks, design the global manufacturing and supplier network, perform lead-time and bottleneck analysis, and execute make-vs-buy and supplier selection frameworks. Responsibilities include leading supplier negotiations, building end-to-end cost models, evaluating capital investments, and translating constraints into business impact assessments. The role involves leading cross-functional Operational Readiness Meetings, producing executive reports, applying DOE and statistical analysis, leading root-cause analysis, and managing engineering change control. Quality systems aligned with ISO and industry standards must be enforced, with traceability maintained from requirements to validation. Compliance across engineering, operations, and suppliers will be coordinated, and cost data will be integrated into financial governance systems. Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, inventory valuation, and COGS tracking are also key duties. The position requires defining KPIs, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining organizational accountability. 15% domestic travel is required.
