About The Position

Compunetix is a manufacturer of sophisticated electronics and developer of digital collaboration platforms and VoIP, voice, video, and data collaboration and conferencing applications. The company is seeking an Operations Planner to work with production to manage customer order builds and assist with and manage new system configurations. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and must be eligible to obtain a security clearance; whether a clearance is required for this position is undetermined. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience managing some level of an electronics assembly process.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize customer orders.
• Provide lead-time estimates for the sales team to use for new quotes.
• Validate requested delivery dates for new orders.
• Review new order entries for completeness and configuration accuracy.
• Establish the production schedule.
• Update customers on ship dates and order-tracking information.
• Create and maintain production schedules while balancing resource workloads.
• Lead Material Requirements Planning (MRP) meetings.
• Monitor inventory and material shortages and coordinate long-lead components.
• Coordinate with purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and sales.
• Communicate and coordinate schedule changes and risks to management.
