About The Position

SAIC is seeking an Operations Officer to join the Space and Intelligence Business Group. You would work on a joint Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of War (DoW) crown jewel program providing highly specialized space/counter-space engineering, scientific, and analytical services from Denver, Colorado. We support the Nation’s leading-edge IC and DoW space programs and offer compelling, deep-technical work that has direct influence and impact on program development and operations. Our team has Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across a variety of disciplines, including engineering, physics, mathematics, RF, optics, space acquisition and operations, and intelligence collection and analysis. This Operations Officer will work in a collaborative team-focused environment of U.S. Government civilians and contractors solving applied technical problems and developing usable solutions for multiple space-related capabilities and threats. This person will possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills. The primary functions for this role are to: • Organize and oversee administrative tasks for the Program Manager • Provide coordination and status across the program staff, management, and the customer • Develop, maintain and deliver contractually required documents This position requires a TS/SCI security clearance, with Polygraph preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations and assist office leadership with a full range of administrative, personnel, financial, and managerial responsibilities
  • Plan, propose, defend, and coordinate program initiatives; represent the contract as a technical/financial expert on contract resources
  • Develop program management and oversight methods and techniques and disseminate data metrics
  • Manage the credit card program and users for the contract, to include knowledge of business administration practices and provide training and advice for the credit card program
  • Provide all necessary paperwork to have new employees onboard to SAIC and the required paperwork to onboard employees into the government workplace
  • Supporting the financial monitoring and reporting of expenditures, contract funding, and forecasts across multiple program accounts
  • Coordinating product schedules, task status, and reporting across numerous office initiatives
  • Facilitating travel management program and reporting
  • Maintaining records, status, and coordination with stakeholders on multiple Information System and physical security accreditation packages
  • Administering the asset management program for 600+ items totaling over $1.8M
  • Overseeing Information System privileged user training and reporting requirements
  • Managing the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) program
  • Responsible for managing and purchasing service awards for contract employees
  • Have reasonable knowledge of security requirements and procedures for new employees
