About The Position

Breuckelen Athletic is seeking 1-2 full-time team members to join their operations and member experience team. This role is crucial for the day-to-day success of the business, ensuring members receive an exceptional experience and supporting smooth facility operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong judgment, and be comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities. This position offers an opportunity for individuals with experience in operations, hospitality, customer experience, administration, or fitness to develop their skills and grow with an exciting company. Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in hospitality, operations, customer service, administration, fitness, or a related field preferred.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and highly personable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional email etiquette.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think proactively.
  • A strong customer service mindset and a genuine desire to help people.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while balancing both operational and administrative responsibilities.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects and following them through to completion.
  • Passion for the Breuckelen Athletic brand and mission.
  • Able to lift and move gym equipment weighing 15-45 lbs frequently and 50+ lbs occasionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience as an executive assistant, hospitality professional, operations coordinator, member experience specialist, or digital marketing professional is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet every member and guest with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Support operational goals and growth initiatives, including events, SOP development, and implementation or improvement of operational systems and technology platforms.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and operational responsibilities while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Tour prospective members around the club with the goal of converting them into long-term members.
  • Respond to member and prospect inquiries in a professional, timely, and energetic manner.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures to ensure the club operates smoothly and consistently.
  • Maintain exceptional facility standards through active participation in cleaning, organization, and equipment upkeep.
  • Coordinate startup sessions and onboarding experiences for new members.
  • Support business operations including email communication, member administration, and marketing initiatives such as social media, email, and website updates.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture while helping uphold the standards and values of Breuckelen Athletic.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
