We’re seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Atlanta location, ensuring safe, and reliable charter bus service for our customers This role provides hands-on leadership to location staff, partners closely with local and regional maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime, and drives a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork while meeting customer service expectations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or technical training preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience managing teams or operations; transportation or motorcoach experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team player and great collaborator.
  • Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, ADA, and CSA requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; professionalism with employees, clients, and vendors..
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational systems (e.g., Samsara, Coach Manager, VMS, or similar).
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License, excellent driving record, and Passenger endorsement.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support location staff by modeling company values of Safe, Humble (quick to share praise and celebrate wins collectively), Hungry (hungry for growth, efficiency, and improvement), Smart (people smart), and serving as a culture and safety leader.
  • Oversee daily operational activities, including driver and vehicle scheduling, to meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback; set clear expectations and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Respond to operational issues and service disruptions quickly and effectively; provide on-call support for operational emergencies as needed.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, ADA, and CSA requirements; participate in audits/inspections and support safety training and corrective actions.
  • Monitor driver compliance with hours of service and electronic logging requirements.
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training; help coordinate DOT compliance documentation (physicals, drug testing, certifications).
  • Maintain operational records (e.g., DVIRs, maintenance and compliance documentation) and use systems such as Coach Manager, VMS, and Samsara.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational and maintenance process improvement; partner cross-functionally to support company programs.
  • Monitor operational supplies and safety equipment; assist with administrative tasks and customer/driver inquiries.
