About The Position

EverLine Coatings and Services, a rapidly scaling commercial service brand, is looking for an experienced, reliable, and proactive Operations Manager to lead its Seattle Location. This is a hands-on role where the operations manager will be in the field with the team. The company is looking to spin up multiple crews but needs an operations manager to help recruit, train, and ensure teams and jobs are supplied with the correct materials. The ideal candidate is forward-thinking and looks for opportunities for continuous improvement. The Operations Manager will oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of the local business unit, formulating and executing strategy, managing people, and establishing policies. Success in this role requires being a thoughtful leader and confident decision-maker, helping people develop and be productive while ensuring profits rise and the company grows and thrives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Operations, General Manager or similar role
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Able to train and coach the staff on proper tool usage
  • Easily sees new business opportunities
  • Experienced with using hand and power tools and is skilled enough to use the proper tools to troubleshoot broken equipment on jobsites, make repairs, and help with scheduled maintenance on equipment
  • Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Effectively prioritizes and delegates tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • BSc/BA in Business or relevant field

Nice To Haves

  • MSc/MA is a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Previous Automotive Mechanic work or small engine work like honda lawnmowers is a plus
  • Welding skills is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations

  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Direct the employee assessment process
  • Prepare regular reports for ownership
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
