About The Position

We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee warehousing operations at Metro Park Warehouses. This role involves strategically managing warehouse operations in alignment with company policies and vision, overseeing all aspects of receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance. The Operations Manager will be responsible for optimizing warehouse space, developing and enforcing policies, and ensuring safety and industry standards are met. Additionally, this role requires active participation in employee management, including recruiting, coaching, and motivating the team, while ensuring efficient and effective customer service.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of warehouse management experience required
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
• Ability to operate forklift effectively
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
• Display solid working knowledge of standard computer applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
