This role involves leading a team and collaborating with various departments such as Supply Chain, Human Resources, Procurement, Quality, Safety, and Finance. The SDM is tasked with upholding a safety-first culture, promoting employee engagement and satisfaction, and achieving financial and operating objectives while ensuring high customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include reinforcing safety, driving quality and engagement, understanding customer needs, supporting business development, managing local resources to meet sales and profit targets, optimizing costs, retaining and developing customers and employees, managing staffing, hiring, training, monitoring performance, conducting reviews, and ensuring adherence to business processes and standards.
