About The Position
The Operations Manager is responsible for day-to-day execution of facility operations and maintenance services across the Jefferson Laboratories Complex. The position oversees maintenance, utilities, work control, service response, and workforce coordination supporting laboratories, animal facilities, administrative facilities, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- 8+ years facility O&M experience.
- 5+ years supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of utility systems and building infrastructure.
- CMMS experience.
Nice To Haves
- Federal campus operations experience.
- Research or laboratory facility experience.
- CMRP/FMP certification
Responsibilities
- Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Oversee steam, chilled water, potable water, wastewater, compressed air, and electrical systems.
- Coordinate maintenance personnel and subcontractors.
- Manage work orders, PM schedules, and service requests.
- Support outages, shutdowns, and emergency operations.
- Ensure operational readiness of campus infrastructure.
