About The Position

Cabinet IQ of Corpus Christi is a growing cabinetry and countertop company serving homeowners, builders, remodelers, and design professionals. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and accountable Operations Manager to own our B2B relationships and manage projects from sold status through successful installation and completion. This is a hands-on role that serves as the bridge between our sales/design team and the field. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, solving problems, managing multiple projects, and making sure things get done—not just putting them on a to-do list.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in construction, remodeling, cabinetry, countertops, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in the field and visiting active construction sites.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, elevations, and measurements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with builders, remodelers, subcontractors, or installers preferred.
  • Cabinetry, countertop, kitchen/bath remodeling, or residential construction experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary operational contact for builders, remodelers, contractors, and other trade partners.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term B2B relationships through responsive communication and excellent service.
  • Receive and manage cabinetry and countertop quote requests, ensuring all necessary information is gathered and submitted to the appropriate designer.
  • Manage the internal quote timeline and follow up with designers to ensure quotes are completed and returned to builders/remodelers promptly.
  • Act as the liaison between the B2B customer and design team throughout the quoting process, resolving questions and gathering missing information.
  • Provide proactive updates and ensure builders/remodelers are never left wondering about the status of a project or quote.
  • Help identify opportunities to strengthen existing relationships and grow B2B business.
  • Take ownership of projects once sold and manage them through final completion.
  • Participate in project handoffs with the designer and review scope, plans, selections, and project requirements.
  • Conduct on-site re-measures in coordination with the designer and identify discrepancies or field conditions that require attention before ordering.
  • Coordinate cabinet and countertop orders, deliveries, installers, and project schedules.
  • Confirm site readiness before scheduling deliveries and installations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for installers during active projects.
  • Conduct regular jobsite check-ins to monitor progress, quality, and schedule.
  • Troubleshoot field conditions and coordinate solutions with designers, installers, vendors, builders, and customers.
  • Identify and resolve issues involving damaged, missing, incorrect, or defective materials.
  • Manage punch-list items through completion and ensure installations meet Cabinet IQ quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and keep internal project management systems current.
