Operations Manager

Remilia CorporationIrvine, CA
$85 - $125,000Hybrid

About The Position

Remilia Corporation is a creative technology studio headquartered in Irvine, California, with a design studio in Seoul—roughly twenty people across a social platform in development, fashion, publications, film, and cultural events. This role owns the company's operational infrastructure: financial administration (our external bookkeeper relationship, expenses, payments, vendor management, budget tracking), people operations (onboarding through offboarding, records, benefits coordination, running the HR processes on our existing levels and review framework), contract coordination (review against business terms, execution, repository, liaison with outside counsel on routine matters), and office operations. Much of this infrastructure was recently built and is in its first year of operation—the job is to run it, find where it breaks, and extend it as the company grows, escalating to leadership and counsel where judgment exceeds the role.

Requirements

  • Experience running financial administration in coordination with an external bookkeeper or accounting team.
  • Experience with people-operations fundamentals: onboarding, records and compliance, benefits coordination.
  • Experience reviewing contracts against agreed business terms and managing execution.
  • Experience carrying several operational workstreams simultaneously without oversight.
  • Working fluency in project management software (Linear, Jira, Asana, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • California employment-law familiarity.
  • Experience in technology or media organizations.
  • Experience building operational processes rather than only running them.
